With over 40 years of experience in professional, educational, and community theatre and dance, Jan has worked and lived in NYC, Chicago, Denver, and now Salida, CO. She trained at the Nikolais/Louis Dance Lab in NYC, holds a BA from Barat College, Lake Forest, IL, and an MH (Masters in Humanities) from CU Denver. As Founder and Artistic Director of the Jan Justis Dance Company, and after 25 years teaching dance and theatre in Cherry Creek Schools, Jan continues to share her passion through teaching, choreography, voice and tap study, and directing.
